Cole Attisha
Cars have been a major obsession in Cole’s life before he could even walk. Believe it or not, his first word was “Volvo”, and his childhood talent was impressing people with his ability to name and identify any car by even the most minute detail, such as a taillight or fender. In high school, his English teachers often complained that he should try to write about something other than cars once in a while.
Cole’s passion for all things automotive spans across a broad range of automotive categories, and he is just as passionate about manual, V12 Aston Martins as he is about mid-engine minivans from the 90s. Having worked as a salesperson for brands such as Hyundai, Mazda, and Mercedes-Benz, his automotive knowledge and insights go deeper than his own personal fascinations and Cole possesses a vibrant understanding of automotive consumer wants and needs.
What Cole values most in an automobile is the overall experience that it has to offer. This experience extends beyond driving dynamics, including practicality, ease of use, peace of mind in ownership, value for money, and a special type of charisma – not empirically measurable – that only true car enthusiasts understand. He believes cars mean much more than the sum of their physical parts, and automotive journalism is a means for him to express those immeasurable qualities to the best of his abilities through the written word.
Cole currently daily drives a 2023 Subaru WRX, equipped with the obligatory 6-speed manual transmission, that he feels is the perfect affordable sport sedan for life in the Pacific Northwest. It is the twenty-first car he has ever owned. His Instagram bio reads, “In love with Sundays and Alfa Romeo”.
