Cars have always been in my DNA, growing up just outside Detroit. I remember taking rides with my uncle and dad in his classic 1966 Ford Mustang on Woodward Avenue, which, fun fact, was the first mile of concrete-paved road in the United States. At home, I spent weekends helping my dad with car projects like oil changes and brake replacements. My passion for cars started early and over the past 10 years, I’ve written for publications like Men’s Journal, Forbes, and Robb Report. My first car was a gray Ford Focus SE sedan. I wanted the hatchback version, but it was just outside of my budget. At $205 a month, though, it was the best money I’ve ever spent. Now, I’m excited to share my love for cars, travel, adventure, and automotive photography through Autoblog, where my goal is to bring that same sense of excitement and discovery to every piece I write.
