Amos has been an automotive editor and writer for the past decade. He was the automotive editor for Gear Patrol and Cool Material, and he has also written for Askmen, Inside Hook, and Fatherly. His passion for all things cars started by watching episodes of the Speed Racer cartoon when he was five years old. His dream cars are the Ferrari 288 GTO and the Chimera Automobili EVO37, but in real life he drives a 184-hp Mazda6. His favorite car memories are tracking a Mercedes-AMG SLS Black Series at Las Vegas Motor Speedway and driving his then 1 year-old daughter at 115 mph on country roads in a Ferrari FF. He lives in the suburbs of Chicago with his wife and three children.
